Frequently asked questions

What GitHub permissions does Sourcebee need?

Sourcebee reads repo, PR, and commit metadata to build org-wide views. It doesn't need write access to your code, and it never touches file contents.

How much does it cost?

Volume pricing that scales with your seat count, plus a 30-day free trial. AI features and the MCP server are included in every seat, with no credits or per-query charges. See our pricing page for full details.

When will I get access?

We're selecting a small number of orgs for the beta program. Request early access and we'll reach out by email if you're selected.

Is my org's data private?

Yes. Your org's data is never shared with other Sourcebee customers or with third-party advertisers, and it's never used to train AI models.

How does Sourcebee use AI, and can we turn it off?

AI writes the summaries and chart readings, and suggests targets, working from your PR, review, and CI data, not your code. An admin can turn AI features off for the whole org in settings, and your data is never used to train AI models.

Is it safe to connect an AI agent?

Each API key acts as you and reaches only the orgs you're a member of. Agents confirm with you before changing a setting, and you can revoke a key at any time. See the docs for details.

Does Sourcebee track individual developers?

No. There are no per-person productivity scores or leaderboards, and metrics roll up to teams and repos. The views that show people are for coordination: who's reviewing what, and the working hours each person sets for themselves.
